Journal History

Artist | Professional | Artisan Crafts
I am a regular gal that has been building GK's since 2006, I picked up this hobby when I was passing though a very hard time in my life, it helped me overcome by pains and it has brought me joy since then, so I love what I do and how I do it, always keeping in mind that I need to surpass my last work with my new one.

Apart from gk building I also love video edition, I have been editing for over 4 years and one day have my own video production company.

For the meantime I have merged both things to make something even special, I have started a video series on youtube on GK building, where I film, edit and voice over every episode.
you can find it here at…

Hello! I've watched your YouTubes with the color combinations to get certain skin tones. I'm about to try out my first resin kit figure soon.

Do you think Createx Paints would work well with that? What paints do you use when you put those combos together?

except for the clear skin method, yes, it should work with any kind of paint :)

I wanted to ask you something. Have you ever stripped a kit to repaint it? I have a kit I've put together (one of my earlier ones, so it doesn't look the best) and I would love to disassemble her, repaint it and put her back together the proper way, but I'm not sure what to use to strip the paint. My brother used to use oven cleaner to strip paint off of his train models, but I'm not sure if that would be too harsh for the resin. Any possible suggestions?

Sorry, this was a long post. Thank you for taking the time to read it :)

Hi Nicole!

Well, it depends a lot on the paint you used, if it was acrylic paint, I recommend submerging the pieces in oxxy clean for about 2 days, scrubs with a toothbrush and if there is still paint left, submerge in new water with oxxy clean for another day and scrub again, that did it for my kit, if you used enamels or lacquers, you will need to use their respective thinners to remove the paint very carefully :)

I too, have just discovered your youtube tutorials! I want to hug you, they're so helpful! And you sound like such a nice person! Thank you for making them! :) :) :)

I've always been interested in the resin-kit-model-making stuff but who knows if I have the time to work on them like you do! Still, I like to learn new things...

Keep up the awesome-sauce!
